This main entry gate for a large hilltop property in west Austin draws on botanical forms while reflecting the movement of water from nearby Lake Austin.

This design motif of this vineyard entry gate combines abstracted images of the agave plant and the rose. Designed in collaboration with landscape architect Steve Martino, FASLA, of Phoenix, AZ.

This gateway design illustrates a profusion of flora representing the most noteworthy plant types in the Gardens. Eighteen-foot sections at the main entrance present a memorable first impression of the gardens as seen from Barton Springs Road and contribute to the visual character of Zilker Park. Desert and woodland plants are expressed in a naturalistic collage inspired by the aspirations of the garden club members who volunteer to care for the gardens.  Fabricated in collaboration with Herrera Ironworks.
