"Living and working - designing and building" After 20 years downtown, David Amdur's Studio relocated to Clawson Road in 2000. The new compound became a dream- come- true building project. The workshop had room to expand and the Living Room became my new gallery. The potential to continue my woodworking in a "retreat setting" instead of the downtown scene inspired me to grow my dream. Purpose of mission: to utilize talent, desire, and experience to the utmost expressiveness -with WOOD.
David was driven to produce custom cabinetry to satisfy my unorthodox design including satisfying my every whim even when it went against his more experienced values. Knowing I have a very critical eye he took the necessary steps to make sure all lines and mechanical parts were straight and smoothly working. I know of no other cabinet maker who is able to achieve the satin finish my cherry cabinets received I truly appreciate his patience and care he took to achieve the spectacular results.
